PURPOSE: To obtain the subject container significantly improved in heat distortion resistance, thus suitable as a packaging container for a food subject to heating process such as heat sterilization, by blending a propylene-based resin with a compound having specific structure. CONSTITUTION: This container is obtained from a resin composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of a propylene-based resin, pref. either propylene homopolymer or an ethylene-propylene block copolymer, esp. with a melt flow rate of 0.1-10g/10min and (B) 0.1-1 pt.wt. of a compound of the formula [R<1> is a (heteroatom-contg.)1-30C hydrocarbon; R<2> and R<3> are each H, a 1-20C alkyl, 5-20C cycloalkyl, 6-20C aryl, or being mutually bound at the respective oneω-end into a 4-7C alkylene], pref. 3.9-bis[4-(N-cyclohexylcarbamoyl) phenyl]-2,4,8,10-tetroxaspiro [5. 5]undecane, terephthalic acid-o-toluidide, etc. |
