摘要 |
PURPOSE: To efficiently produce naphthalenedlcarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION: This new microorganism is a conventionally unknown S1-22-18 strain, closely resembling the genera Alcallgenes and Comamonas and capable of producing 2,6-naphthalenedlcarboxylic acid from 2,6-dimethylnapthalene. An organic solvent containing the 2,6-dimethylnaphthalene is treated with the new microorganism to convert the 2,6-dimethylnaphthalene and produce the dicarboxylic acid or the microorganism is cultured to produce the dicarboxylic acid. A petroleum fraction such as a petroleum-catalytically cracked oil can directly be utilized as a substrate and an organic solvent. Furthermore, the method is excellent even in the industrial aspect. |
