PURPOSE: To effectively remove a rubber flash without increasing the cost without requiring high accuracy for a split mold or a metal cylinder without largely altering a conventional mold structure. CONSTITUTION: An inner cylinder M1 and an outer cylinder M2 are set in a cavity 8 formed of an upper mold l, an intermediate mold 2 and a lower mold 3. In this state, rubber molding material is charged in the cavity 8 and vulcanized to obtain a metallic rubber composite unit in which a rubber molding R is integrally vulcanized and stuck between the cylinders M1 and M2. Flash gutters 14 in which a shallow gutter part 14a for forming a thin flash r1 and a deep gutter 14b for forming a thick flash r2 are continued are formed at the cavity forming molding surfaces 1b, 12b of the upper and lower molds in which the end face of the cylinder M1 is brought into contact with that of the cylinder M2. In this case, the shallow gutter 14a of the gutter 14 is disposed at the boundary side between the cylinders M1, M2 of the composite unit and the molding R. |
