PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding introducer for the ablation or mapping of a predetermined location into the right ventricle for treating the ventricular tachycardia associated with the right ventricle outflow track and a method for treating by using such an introducer. SOLUTION: A catheter is introduced into a predetermined location within the right ventricle by using a guiding introducer comprising a slender straight first region, a second region having a curved portion and straight portion, and a third region having a curved portion curved from a flat surface made between the first region and the second region. An electrode of a catheter is used for the mapping or ablation of a specified location within the right ventricle associated with the right ventricle outflow track by using an energy source either from a direct current, a high-frequency, a microwave or a laser. |
