PURPOSE: To provide a domestic elevator and its construction method wherein setting up can be easily and inexpensively performed relating to an existing house. CONSTITUTION: In an external wall surface 2 vertically correspondingly positioning a space utilizable as a gate in an upper/lower floor in an existing house 1, in/out openings 3, 4 having a bottom surface almost flush with a floor surface of each floor are formed, and an elavator unit 5 comprising a prefabricated lift car and elevator shaft case is built so as to vertically connect the in/out openings 3, 4 of each floor also so as to stop the lift car in the in/out openings 3, 4. |
