PURPOSE: To create an effective and optimum schedule for sorting fuel charged into a heating furnace in a short time. CONSTITUTION: Neck slab and dead burning slab are detected by calculating neck degree and dead burning degree of respective slabs charged into the heating furnace, the neck slab and the dead burning slab which are detected are exchanged with each other under a prescribed condition to renew the schedule, then simulation is performed based on a renewed schedule and these processes are repeated to create an optimum schedule. Thus, the neck slab and the dead burning slab causing loss of fuel charged into the heating furnace are reduced and the optimum schedule in which difference between a target temperature and an actual extracting temperature of respective slabs is small is certainly created and number of schedule patterns to be created before obtaining the optimum schedule can be drastically reduced. |
