PURPOSE: To provide the convenient waste gas purifying method and device with the energy consumption minimized and applicable even to small-scale purification in the device for oxidizing and purifying the impure and harmful components in the various waste gases and atmospheric gases in the high-temp. region. CONSTITUTION: The main body of this purifying device has a heating part 6 in the center and a high-temp. part 5 having a catalytic part 4. Two openings of the high-temp. part are used as an inlet 8 or an outlet 9 and connected to a passage. The passages are alternately separated by a wall and cover the high-temp. part spirally and centrifugally to form the heat-exchange part. Two openings are formed on the outer periphery of the heat-exchange part and used as an inlet 1 or an outlet 2.
