DEODORIZING FIBER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To effectively remove not only an acidic component and a basic component but also a neutral component for a long time by a deodorizing fiber. CONSTITUTION: A photocatalyst such as titanium oxide and an adsorbent are contained in a fiber. The content of the photocatalyst is about 0.1-25wt.% based on the entire fiber and that of the adsorbent is about 0.1-25wt.% on the entire fiber. The fiber may have a conjugate structure such as a core-sheath structure in which the sheath part has the higher contents of the photocatalysts and the adsorbent than the core part, or may be a modified cross-section fiber.
