Rubber compounds containing at least one rubber, a crosslinking agent, a silica-containing filler, optionally other rubber auxiliaries and at least one of the compounds corresponding to formulae (I) and (II): <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) compound (I) being used in quantities of 0.1 to 15% by weight and compound (II) being used in quantities of 0.05 to 5% by weight, based on the quantity of the particular rubber used, and their use for the production of rubber vulcanizates.
