PURPOSE: To obtain a hay for packaging fruit or the like with superior cushioning properties and shape-retaining properties by a method wherein the hay is formed of a laminated sheet of a thermoplastic resin sheet and a polyurethane foam sheet with the polyurethane foam sheet disposed inside recessed parts. CONSTITUTION: In a packaging hay A, a surface of a polyurethane foam sheet 1 is melted by a flame to be integrally contact bonded to a polypropylene resin sheet 2, and recessed parts 3 are formed by vacuum forming or pressure molding the laminated composite sheet. Since the inner peripheral surface of the recessed part 3 is made of the polyurethane foam sheet 1, high cushioning properties in storage of fruit or the like and ideal air-permeability can be obtained, therefore reducing the bruise of fruit. On the other hand, since the outer periphery of the packaging tray A including the outer peripheral surfaces of the recessed parts 3 is made of the polypropylene resin sheet 2, the tray has superior shape- retaining properties as a whole and a resistance to vibration at the time of transport, thus preventing the shift of a package and the contact of fruits with each other. |
