PURPOSE: To provide a convenient lift-up type handle device which allows releasing a chain lock and opening a door readily in a single operation. CONSTITUTION: This lift-up type handle device comprises a case 2 having a recess that sinks into the back of a door; a handle 3 pivotally attached to the case 2 at its first end by means of a pivot; an interlocking lever 5 pivotally attached to the side of the case 2 at its first end 5b by means of the pivot 7 and having a locking member connected to the first end 5b; and a spring which rotates the interlocking lever 5 in a direction for moving in and out. A driven rib 5a at the end of the interlocking lever 5 is engaged in an operating recess 3a provided at the end of the handle 3. |
