PURPOSE: To obtain a culture medium for culturing a cell capable of efficiently producing a new ligand capable of binding to a receptor type tyrosine kinase containing a specific amino acid sequence or binding thereto and further phosphorylating the tyrosine residue thereof by blending a specific culture medium of a specified composition. CONSTITUTION: An LPM culture medium useful for culturing a cell of a CLN (FERM P-14847) cell, derived from a human and capable of efficiently producing a new ligand capable of binding to a receptor type tyrosine kinase which is a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence of formulas I, II, etc., or binding thereto and efficiently self-phosphorylating the tyrosine residue thereof is obtained by blending water with CaCl2 , copper sulfate, ferric nitrate, ferrous sulfate, KCl, MgSO4 , NaCl, NaHCO3 , NaH2 PO4 , ZnSO4 , glucose, glutathione, hypoxanthine, fats, putrescine, a pyruvate, amino acids, biotin, calcium pantothenate, inositol, nicotinamide, pyridoxal, riboflavin, thiamine, vitamin B12 , thymidine, etc. |
