An electro-chemical anaylsis electrode comprises a glass or plastics tubular casing 8 on one end of which is detachably screw-threaded a plastics sleeve 13 carrying an ion-selective member 14 in the form of a liquid-impregnated sheet, Fig. 1, or a block, Fig. 2. An inner cylindrical glass or plastics member 1 bears against sealing 25, Fig. 1, or 18, Fig. 2, to define a sealed chamber 24 for an inner reference solution. An electrode wire 3 sealed into a transverse partition of the member 1 is formed as a compression spring 6 at its upper end which contacts a conductive connector plug 11 mounted on a cap 9 axially adjustable by being screw-threaded on the upper end of casing 8. A metal tube or tubular net 7 forms a screen and is held between bead 22 and the cap 9. |
