FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: flexible transmission comprises driving and driven sprockets provided with cog sockets, endless flexible member composed of interconnected stacks of the pieces of a steel belt. The belts are interconnected by way of rollers whose pins are received in holes in side plates. The belts in stacks lay on each other and are secured in the slots of the other rollers which are at a distance from each other. The plate-roller joint is provided with flexible cautions the layers of which can work in shearing. All members of the transmission are set in vulcanized rubber.
