摘要 FIELD: separation of loose materials in ascending gas current under the effect of gravitational forces. SUBSTANCE: the classifier has a cylindrical vertical casing, in which interspersing devices in the form of truncated cones are arranged in pairs in the same horizontal plane, the devices being secured in the casing with their larger bases up, and separating members in the form of truncated cones secured with their smaller bases up on the axial member installed in alignment with the casing and on the source material branch pipe. V-shaped annular separating members are located between the adjacent pairs of members alternating in height and secured by means of tie-rods. A separator is installed above the casing, which prevents an accidental escape of large particles from the classifier. A feeder with a loading bin attached to it is installed on the separator. Branch pipe 10 is used to feed the source material, branch pipe 11 - for air supply, branch pipe 12 - for discharge of air with small fraction, and branch pipe 13 is used as a receiver of large fraction. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of classification due to optimization of the procedure of separation.
