METHOD OF FABRICATING FRICTION OBJECTS

FIELD: machining. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabrication of perforated friction objects from wound threads. To do this, intermediate product is first made from impregnated wound thread, which is then machined to produce object with desired size and simultaneously pressing in cavities with size corresponding to size of openings in final product. Distance from bottom of these cavities to object surface opposite to that where cavities are made should be equal or less than thickness of layer removed from the opposite surface when object is machined.
