FIELD: devices for check of linear sizes in mechanical engineering; measurement of parameters of displacement of elements of various mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: device has housing 1 with base 2 where contact rod 3 is movably mounted; rod 3 holds rotor part of capacitance-type sensor made in the form of two parallel dielectric plates 8. Two parallel rectangular bars 9 located symmetrically relative to rod are rigidly connected with base. Stator part of capacitance-type sensor is mounted between these bars; stator part is made in the form of two similar plate-type monoblocks each of which carries two electrodes with respective plate of rotor part located in clearance between electrodes. capacitors of monoblocks are connected in parallel relative to each other and in series relative to resonator 12 of measuring generator. Provision is made for frequency adjustment in reference generator of measuring circuit; frequency of reference generator is selected to be equal to frequency of measuring generator at short-circuit total capacitance of monoblocks. Bars, part of rod along bars, stator and rotor parts of capacitance-type sensor are made from quartz glass. Measuring circuit has frequency subtraction unit and period measurement unit.
