PROCESS FOR SORPTION PURIFICATION OF ETHANE AND PROPANE COOLANTS FORM IMPURITIES

摘要

FIELD: purification and stabilization of ethane and propane coolants. SUBSTANCE: ampholites of special purpose based on vinyl pyridine and having specific characteristics during absorption of halogen substituted aliphatic acids and anhydrides thereof are used for the first time for purification of coolants from impurities. The claimed process makes it possible to purify coolant from impurities in single stage and to used sorbent in repeated sorption- regeneration cycles. Coolants purified by amphalites withstand "mirror" test become stable and remain viable when exposed to light for lengthy period of time (more than 6 months). EFFECT: more efficient sorption purification process.
