FIELD: agriculture; forestry. SUBSTANCE: vertical rotary cutter for digging around trees to be transplanted is a vertical cylinder with vertical slots. Special knives are mounted in the slots. The knives are intended for cutting off the soil layer with plant roots. The mass of soil and roots is delivered into the cylinder, and an auger transports it up into a chamber with ports. Vanes mounted on a shaft throw the mass outside through the ports. Digging a needed lump is ensured by a carriage with a guiding bar. A reduction gear unit with rolls slides on the guiding bar moved by a hydraulic cylinder. Another hydraulic cylinder moves the carriage with the working tool towards the tree by means of an extendible tube. The carriage is secured on the external end of the tube. The working tool advance to the tree is limited by a cam. The cam is a wheel coaxial with the reducing gear axle. The implement is converted for travel from the operator's cabin by means of a system of levers and a relay. EFFECT: higher efficiency. |
