FIELD: heat power engineering; moisture traps. SUBSTANCE: cooling tower water trap has parallel plates 1 with vertical inlet, middle and outlet curved sections 2, 3, 4, respectively. Sections 3 and 4 follow lines of circumference with radius ratios 1.4-2.0. Section 2 smoothly changes into section 3, and sections 3 and 4 are mated to form step 5. Thickness of sections 2, 3, 4 gradually decreases in direction of air flow in cooling tower. Plates 1 are installed on beams of cooling tower through fillets 6. Fillets 8 serve both for additional fixing of plates 1 and for holding discharged moisture film. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability. 4 cl, 1 dwg |
