METHOD OF QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION p-AMINOBENZOIC ACID BETA- DIETHYLAMINOETHYLAMIDE AND 1-(2-ETHYLSULFONYLETHYL)-2-METHYL-5- NITROIMIDAZOLE

FIELD: chemical analysis. SUBSTANCE: method consists in measuring optical absorbance of investigated solutions on wavelengths corresponding to their maxima. In the same conditions, optical absorbance of solutions of standard compounds - novocaine and metronidazole is measured. Calculation of analyzed compounds' concentrations is made according to known formulas using mol.weight values of analyzed and standard compounds. Analysis lasts not more than 1 hour. Proposed method is distinguished in that it takes into account similarity in chemical structure and nature of spectral curves of analyzed and standard compounds. This fact eliminates necessity for empirical calibration of outer standards replacing such procedure with using mol.weight ratio. EFFECT: essentially increased reproducibility of analyses.
