FIELD: medical equipment; tools for surgery. SUBSTANCE: wound dilator has stiletto 1 with central channel 2 and conical working end 3. Needle for intended for application of the pneumoperitoneum is mounted in channel 2 for longitudinal movement. The needle has tapering proximal part 5 with holes 6 opening channel 7 of the needle to the environment. The needle is provided with rounded ball-shaped working end 8. Holes 6 are formed by petal-shaped members joined with the ball. Stiletto 1 is located in a channel of standard shell 11 with tight seal unit 12. The stiletto is provided with handle 13. The design of the wound dilator allows for atraumatic transport of the laparoscopic shells through the front abdominal wall without the need for subsequent stitching. EFFECT: least trauma of front abdominal wall. |
