The appts. for monitoring the density of a liq. comprises a tubular chamber (1) whose two ends are closed by axially movable walls (7), rigidly connected inside the chamber to the movable side of a strain gauge whose fixed side is attached to the chamber wall. The chamber is submerged in the liq., whose density is measured in terms of the electric resistance of the gauge, which depends on the difference between the loads applied by the liq. to the walls (7). |
