The implant consists of a hollow cylindrical vertical body (4), Open at the top at the level of its head (5) and equipped with an inner thread (9). The head has a notch (13) in its inner surface for positioning the prosthesis which is fitted in the implant. The notch is located above the implant's inner thread, and the head has a chamfered surface at the top, to receive a coupling bush to which the prosthesis is attached. The notch can be replaced with a projection which engages with a matching notch in the prosthesis component.
