The radar jamming device, mounted on an aircraft has an antenna (1) receiving ground radar monopulse signals. Signals can be selected for jamming (3) at the receiver. The receiver has a variable time delay unit (4) and amplifier (5) allowing the input signal to be pulled off away from the real signal over a period of time, by retransmitting the signal. The signals are applied to two antennas (6,7) with orthogonal polarisations and each path has a variable attenuator (8,9).
