<p>PURPOSE: To provide a string excellent in the durability by forming a core from specific monofilament, winding round a specific fiber as an intermediate covering layer, winding thereover a side thread consisting of a specific monofilament, and covering the surface with a polyamide resin. CONSTITUTION: A string is composed of a core thread 1 which is monofilament made of a polyamide resin, and high elastic fibers having a modulus of elasticity over 50GPa and polyamide fibers are wound in the number of turns over 200T/M on the core thread 1 as an intermediate covering layer 2. As a side thread 3, monofilaments consisting of the polyamide resin are wound round the intermediate covering layer 2, and the surface is enclosed with a polyamide resin 4. In this manner, the intermediate layer 2 between the core thread 1 and the side thread 3 is formed from high elastic fibers excellent in the friction resistance in such a way as not impairing the physical properties of the string, so that a guide line for wear of string can be set, and the durability of the string can be enhanced.</p> |
