<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To re-shape the end of a filmstrip having the damaged end into desired shape by providing a rising rib for shearing the filmstrip, along the outer edge bottom part of a film re-shaping end having an alignment hole for positioning a punch plate over an alignment support. SOLUTION: The re-shaping end 52 of a punch plate 24 is provided with round supports 54 and a nearly elliptic pin 56, while the corresponding end 50 of a template 22 is provided with corresponding round openings and a nearly elliptic groove 60 so as to receive the supports 54 and the pin 56 and to cooperate with each other. A rising rib 62 for shearing a filmstrip is formed in the desired end shape of the filmstrip coinciding with the shape of the corresponding end 50 of the template 22, along a part of the outer edge of the end 52 of the punch plate 24.</p> |
