Plant used for the tobacco curing process with a high efficiency in fuel consumption and easy to operate. Said plant and process are based on the sequential and continuous circulation of warm air through the curing chambers which contain the tobacco so that the air acquires the appropriate temperature and moisture characteristics in each step of the curing process. The process of the invention may be applied to existing plants which can be appropriately adapted, as well as to newly built plants which do not require a specific structure for implementing of said process. <IMAGE> |
