A clip of aluminium alloy comprises a foot portion 2 and a resilient arcuate portion 1 which subtends at its centre an angle greater than 180‹. The foot and arcuate portions are integral and are formed by extrusion of the alloy or are separate and joined by a screw or bolt or the arcuate portion has lateral flanges which engage in a groove in the foot portion. The arcuate portion may be enclosed by provision of a pivoted cover. In a modification the foot portion extends only to one side of the arcuate portion to allow attachment of a plurality of clips to adjacent edges of panels without interfering one with another. A cylindrical member may snap engage in the clip. The cylindrical member may comprise two tubular parts having an elliptical internal cross section the parts being joined by inserting a piece of tube having an elliptical external cross section and by rotating the piece to clamp the parts together. |
