A pinch roll freewheel (1) has two rings (3, 4) one inside the other. There are pinch ramps (7) on the facing surfaces and a cylindrical pinch track (6) is formed, in which the pinch rolls (5) are spring-loaded against the cylindrical pinch track (6) and the pinch ramps (7). A lighter yet still inherently rigid pinch roll freewheel is to be formed in that at least one of the rings (3, 4) is made by a non-cutting shaping process and consists of fully hardened steel. |
