The aerosol operating device includes a handgrip (1) which has a coupling device (3) in its end (2) for the container (13), and a hand-operated trigger (5) in its endface (4), acting with a valve device on the container. The part of the recess extending into the endface of the handgrip serves as a receiver for the trigger. The recess may extend over the end zone including the coupling device and into the handgrip, which has a bulge (9) below the coupling device.
