Bottle pick-up head for use in bottle printing plant

The pick-up device has a holder (2) with a turnable base plate (11), and a bracket (6) with a turnable mouthpiece opposite to the plate, to support the bottle head. The first end (5) of the bracket is rigidly fastened to the holder. A tension rod (10) to move a bottle is located centrally in the holder, and is connected to the base plate to remove the bottle. The holder also carries turnable sleeve (7), which can be coupled to the baseplate to drive it. The sleeve is coupled to a rotary drive, and is connected to the sleeve via a friction coupling, e.g. a pressure spring (13).
