Roller shutter for house window

A roller shutter comprises a barrier (2) and a U-section box (3) which is mounted above the window. A gap is formed between the upper horizontal section (4) of the window frame and one of the arms of the box through which the barrier is introduced. At least one sealing strip (5,6) is provided on the arm or the upper part of the window frame to seal the gap remaining after the barrier has been introduced. Pref. a sealing strip is fitted on both components and consists of a U-section strip (6) with two arms (6a,6b), with grooves in which the edge of a soft rubber strip (5) is fastened.
