The method involves fitting one plate or block with an automatic lever-toggle tensioner (5). An eyelet is screwed into the second plate or block together with a belt drawn previously through the eyelet. Both ends of the belt are then pulled through a hole in a steel plate so as to centralise the pulling effect. In this condition, the nose (8) is placed on the panel etc. so the parquet plates or blocks can be tensioned to one another by the toggle device (5).
