The holder has a disc (5) on which the pot stands and surrounded with flexible coarse-meshed matting (4). The mat is firmly joined to the disc and is divided into separate segments. The connecting support (6) is placed on the disc and is the height of the average pot. The top of the connecting support has an opening for a fixture bar (9). An adaptor (7) with one or more arms has an angle piece (8) fixed to the free ends of the arms. The adaptor and angle piece are plugged together. The disc, connecting support, adaptor and angle piece are made of plastics.
