Flat gel-type pad for compression bandages

The flat gel-type body consists of a soft mass wrapped in at least one, pref. two plastics sheets (2,3) welded along the edge. The pad is round or oval with a flat elliptical cross-section. One side of the pad (1) is joined to pieces (6) of hook pile fastener. One side of the pad has, at least in parts, a permanently adhesive layer protected by a peel-off sheet.
