Three=phase toroidal core for transformers or chokes

The three-phase AC device is for use with transformers and inductances i.e. chokes, and has a ring core element that is formed by three ferrite stages (1.1-1.3). The stages are curved and have lines of contact (1.4) set at 120 degrees intervals. The windings (2) are set around the tip sections and set at the centre is a yoke element (1.5). The ferrite stages are produced from grain orientated silicon ferrite strip material that is subjected to a forming process to create the curved shape.
