Steering wheel with turning knob for single-handed operation

The steering wheel has a holder for the turning knob. The holder is fastened to an inner section (14) of the wheel body in such a way, that a given axial scheduled deformation behaviour of the steering wheel is maintained. The section is the radial outer flange of a collapsible hub (6) of the steering wheel. Fastening is via a web (15), which engages on the radial outer flange of the hub, in a direction at right angles to the axial direction (5) of the steering wheel.
