Folding vehicle (1) which is propelled by human power, such as a scooter or suchlike, comprising: at least one foot-plank (2) for placing one or two feet on; at least one rear wheel (3) which is coupled to the foot-plank (2); means of steering for manoeuvring the vehicle, comprising at least one steering column (4); at least one front wheel (5) which is coupled to the steering axle; and a first folding device which can be un-coupled and re-coupled for folding the foot-plank (2) between a folded up position of the vehicle (1) and a folded out position of the vehicle (1) in which it may then be used by a rider as a means of transport having the property that, between the means of steering and at least one of the wheels, a driving mechanism or means of transmission is fitted, whereby moving the means of steering, the driving energy is transferred to the wheels.
