The invention concerns a device for cutting plastics comprising a counter-support (2, 7) on which the plastic to be cut is placed and a wedge-shaped cutting blade (1, 6) which is pressed from the side facing away from the counter-support (2, 7) onto the plastic in order to cut it. In order to improve the quality of the cut edges and increase the edge life of the blade (1, 6), another wedge-shaped blade is used as the counter-support (2, 7); the blades (1, 2, 6, 7) penetrate the plastic just far enough to avoid coming into contact in a cutting operation. |
