PURPOSE:To automatically switch a travel control system by applying travel control commands from both a control trolley line and a code plate provided on the ground. CONSTITUTION:A travel controller 5 for a conveying electric railcar 1 stores a self-travel program 10, a zone travel program 11 and a pulse travel program 12. Code plates 20a - 20c for applying travel control commands are provided on the ground, and read by a code reader 8. On the other hand, a travel control signal is also applied by trolley lines J, K. A controller 13 operates a switching function 14 based on read content of the reader 8 and detection signals of home position detectors 9a, 9b, selectively executes programs 10 - 12 by utilizing control signals applied from the lines J, K as required, and controls a motor 2 through an inverter 4. |
