The invention concerns a device for releasable attachment of an object to a support. The device is primarily intended to fasten load carriers and the like on vehicles. The device comprises a base member (5) to be gripped from opposite directions by the jaws (6b) of a grip member (6). In accordance with the invention the grip member consists of a main body part (6a) with at least one sliding face (11, 12) thereon forming a path on which slides a jaw element (6b) arranged to be displaced by actuating means (7) along said paths, from its release position to its grip-engagement position. |
