The sections (4) of the door are moved by the chain (6) between the open (II) and shut (I) positions, in the latter of which they stand one on top of the other. The guide (8) for them has a rail (26) accommodating them in the shut position at least. Deflectors (31) on the sections swing them apart from each other over their whole length. To generate this movement, the deflectors are subjected to a transverse component of the tension load on the chain. They can be supported on the latter and thrust out by the tension load. Between the open and shut positions the sections can be passed over a diverter (12), towards which the deflectors swing them. The deflectors can have curved faces (33), against which the chain bears, and they can form lateral protrusions on the sections. |
