PURPOSE: To eliminate end lock condition easily and prevents over-tight winding with simple structure and without increasing the number of parts. CONSTITUTION: When a webbing 24 is wound rapidly to a full storing condition, a V-pawl 40 may be engaged with an engaging tooth 30 of a V-gear 26. Also, even if the V-pawl 40 is engaged with the engaging tooth 30 of the V-gear 26, if the webbing 24 is pulled out, a spool 18 is rotated in a webbing pulling direction, and a lock means is locked (a lock claw 66 of a lock plate 55 is engaged with a lock teeth 68), the V-gear 26 is moved in axial direction, engagement of the V-pawl 40 with the engaging tooth 30 of the V-gear 26 is released (the V-pawl 40 is opposed to a toothless part 32), and an end lock condition is eliminated. Then the engagement and disengagement of the V-pawl 40 from the engaging tooth 30 may be repeated by the vibration of a vehicle. In this case, also over-tight winding can be prevented. |
