PURPOSE: To render the occurrence of discoloration of coloring images and yellow discoloration of a skin part hard to occur, and thus enhance a light resisting property by providing a layer containing a UV rays absorbent and oxidation preventive on the thermosensible coloring layer of a thermosensible recording material. CONSTITUTION: A layer containing a UV rays absorbent and oxidation preventive is provided on a thermosensible coloring layer containing leuco dyes and developer on the carrier, and a leuco dyes layer is provided on the carrier and a developer layer containing a UV rays absorbent is provided thereon, thereby obtaining a thermosensible recording material having a good light resisting property. Herein, for the UV rays absorbent, a benzotriazole compound is preferable, and a compound represented in the formula is used preferably. Also, for an oxidation preventive used jointly with the UV rays absorbent, a bisphenol or trisphenol compound is preferably employed. Further, for the developer, a bisphenol or trisphenol compound is preferably used, thus obtaining a thermosensible recording material with further enhanced light resistant property. |
