<p>PURPOSE: To display an image with uniform brightness by providing a gain adjustment means in an image signal generation means and changing a signal level of an image signal synchronizing with a scan electrode drive signal. CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted of a liquid crystal display panel 2, an image signal generation means 9, a scan electrode drive means 10, a signal electrode drive means 11 and a transparent electrode drive means 12. Then, the image signal generation means 9 is provided with an operational amplifier, etc., and changes the gain of the operational amplifier by selecting a gain adjustment resistance beforehand set according to a target brightness control amount synchronizing with the scan electrode drive signal answering to at every transparent electrode 4 based on the control of a gain adjustment control signal GS from a timing pulse generation means, and changes the signal level of the image signal SVI, and inverts a polarity at every a field, and outputs the image signal SV to the signal electrode drive means 11. Thus, the brightness is controlled at every picture of a liquid crystal answering to respective transparent electrodes 4, and the brightness of the display is uniformized ranging to the whole picture.</p> |
