摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the service life of brakes and improve safety by increasing or decreasing the pressure applied to hydraulic fluid when the displacement member of the hydraulic pressure chamber of a cylinder piston device is activated by an electronic control device to increase or decrease the friction force introduced in a friction member. SOLUTION: The piston of a master brake cylinder 2 is displaced by the operation of a brake pedal 1, and the hydraulic pressure liquid displaced flows into a hydraulic pressure chamber, and the increased hydraulic pressure displaces a brake piston 6b and presses a brake lining 7a against a brake disk 8. The friction force of the brake disk 8 is detected by a sensor 25, and an electronic controller 22 determines the brake magnitude desired by the operator from pedal operating force and speed and convert the brake magnitude into control signals. Through this operation, an actuator 14 moves an operation member 15 to the hydraulic chamber 4, increasing the volume of a displacement member 12 and the pressure in the hydraulic pressure chamber 4, as a result the brake piston 6b is further pressed. During the operation, a two way solenoid valve 23 is closed. Therefore, the service life is prolonged and safety is improved.
