PURPOSE: To prevent communication from being interrupted. CONSTITUTION: At the time of transmission in infrared light communication, data are encoded by an encoding part 12, passed through a bus 14 for data and transmitted from an external output part 15 by infrared light. Besides, at the time of reception, data are received from an external input part 16 by infrared light, passed through the bus 14 for data and decoded by a decoding part 13. When transmitting data from the external output part 15, a timer is internally set. When there is no response to the external input part 16 before the time-out of the timer, errors are reported to the operator by a voice output part so that communication can be prevented from being interrupted. |
