PURPOSE: To achieve the satisfactory cleaning of a plurality of latent image carriers by the use of a specialized cleaning liquid and the efficient removal of developer mixed in the cleaning liquid, in a wet-type image forming device where a transfer material is positioned, in order, opposite the latent image carriers provided with cleaners, etc. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning liquid tank 41 storing a cleaning liquid having the same constituent as the mother liquor of the developer, cleaning-liquid circulators 42, 43, and 45 for circulating the cleaning liquid between the tank 41 and cleaner 17, and a liquid supply device 59 for supplying the cleaning liquid to a liquid-developer tank 54 from the tank 41 are provided for each of the photoreceptors which the transfer paper faces. Further, the liquid supply device 59 is provided with a device 47 which removes the developer from the cleaning liquid. |
