POSITION INDEXING METHOD AND DEVICE OF MOVING OBJECT

PURPOSE: To provide a moving object position indexing method and device capable of performing the position indexing of a moving object with very high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: Static angular velocitiesω1 andω2 and a traveling velocity v (t) of a moving object 1 are measured by a speedmeter 3a in a state that this moving object 1 is stopped before and after the movement of this moving object 1 with an angular speedmeter, and likewise time t,τfrom the moving start of the moving object 1 and time T up to the end from the moving start are measured by a timer 4 respectively, and then apparent displacement Y3 and offset displacement Y1 of the moving object 1 are calculated by an arithmetic unit 6a, and the offset displacement Y1 is subtracted from the apparent displacement Y3 and thereby true displacement Y is calculated.
